n64 games in my opinion were some of the greatest console games ever thought up

not only in how they looked which was pretty damn revolutionary, but in every aspect of how they played.

I think one of the main reasons I could never get hugely immersed in Skyrim is the way they did the voices for certain races. They’re not different enough.

The worst offenders:

Orcs - They’re gruff. THAT’S THEIR THING. Orcs are meant to be all fierce and dangerous and brutish. Not just GRUFF.

Khajiit - Spanish. I kid you not. That’s what the dev team did for their voices. A slight tinge of Spanish. Because they’re cat-people. Har har har.

Argonians: Lizard-people with nothing in their voices that really shows they’re lizard-people.

IMO Oblivion is 10000x better. Mostly because of the story is more immersed with the game, and that’s a big problem I have with the later gens of my favorite games (like Fallout: New Vegas) is that they try and pack more in and I lose myself in what the true story is SUPPOSED to be.

Oblivion had a really nice and clear storyline from the beginning, this one it’s like “Well okay dragons???? but also war what???? greybeards I don’t even????”  

Skyrim did a lot of good things, one of them having more customization, nice houses, interesting characters, but lost a lot in the ways of story.  But nice little side quests, and a bunch of other quirky things.

I think “Yeah Amata is cool, she’s my friend”

but then I think

“No, fuck her, she re-kicked me out of the Vault I hate that sideways fucker.”
